The first and second episodes of the highly anticipated sageuk KBS2 drama Strongest Chil Woo – starring Shinhwa member Eric (Mun Jung Hyuk) will be aired on 17 June, after which the OST will also be released.
Of particular interest to the public is the participation of idol group SS501 on the OST, who have stepped out in support of their seniors Shinhwa. SS501 will be singing the theme song on the OST, Uri Hamkke Ramyeon (If We Are Together), and their participation has led to even greater anticipation of the drama, not just from Shinhwa fans but SS501 fans as well.
Moreover, the Strongest Chil Woo OST will feature different genres ranging from ballads to punk. Former Baby Vox member Shim Eun Jin will be performing the theme ballad of the female lead, Aniyo (It’s Not); while Han Eol who previously featured on the Golden Bride OST will be singing the ballad Kidaryoyo (Waiting). Punk bank Lazybone, Choi Sung Il among others, also feature on the OST.
A spokesperson from the drama production team said, “We’ve collated a range of interesting songs from musicians of different genres, from punk to ballads. We hope that this OST will be able to show off the different personalities of each musician, and that everyone will like it.”
